SINERR offers lectures throughout the year, both on Sapelo Island and at the Visitor’s Center. Past topics have included

• Bats,
• Dolphins
• Moths
• Our Changing Climate

In addition to lectures, Friends of Sapelo members provide support for other learning events like “Crab and Shrimp Day” on the island,  the “National Estuary Week” and “Coast Fest”.   These events are open to the public.
