Invasive species have been a growing concern for decades in Georgia and with changing climates we are also experiencing other species native to the U.S. expanding their range into coastal Georgia. The public is invited to an informative presentation on Georgia’s invasive species led by Adam Mackinnon, SINERR Education Coordinator,
Adam will introduce the audience to a few of the organisms that have made their way to our coast. Learning to identify and control these organisms will play a vital role in stopping the spread of these invaders.
This event is part of the lecture series sponsored by the Sapelo Island National Estuarine Research Reserve (SINERR)
