The Friends of Sapelo (FOS), celebrated 20 years of volunteer service on April 25th with a reception at the Belvedere Clubhouse in Townsend GA. Attendees included Friends old and new from far and near. Fred Hay, Sapelo Island Manger and Buddy Sullivan, former Director of SINERR  reminisced about how they started the service organization in 1995.

A plaque recognizing Friends of Sapelo service to the island was presented to Don Benz, current President of Friends of Sapelo, and Linda Daniels, the Volunteer Coordinator.
