SINERR staff may be mighty, but we are small! We rely on volunteers to achieve our goals. When you volunteer, you’re not just assisting with tasks; you’re adding value to our community and fostering a deeper connection with nature.
To best way to become a volunteer is to directly contact our Volunteer Liaison or for a more social experience, join our non-profit partner organization, Friends of Sapelo.
SINERR has partnered with the Student Conservation Association (link: https://thesca.org/) to host internships supporting Stewardship and Conservation Research on Sapelo Island. This internship is posted twice a year around January and August, and begins in September and March of each year. When the internship applications are open, it will be linked on this page
