The Reserve engages partners, stakeholders, and end users in generating research questions that are relevant and responsive to management needs. This collaborative approach is the backbone to most research conducted by the Reserve. These collaborative initiatives are funded mostly through the competitive NERRS Science Collaborative awards. These awards can fund 1-3 year projects that address Reserve managment needs. RFPs are called for each Fall.
