The Sapelo Island Reserve offers a variety of education programs for school groups, the public, special interest groups, and teachers. Programs highlight salt marsh (estuarine) and barrier island ecology, nongame and endangered species, current research efforts on the reserve, and Sapelo’s rich cultural history.

The Sapelo Island Reserve tailors its education programs for:

Groups must have 10 – 40 participants
